Educational opportunities are available through online distance learning and access to a large library of relevant professional papers and texts. A monthly publication, The Cost Engineering Journal, keeps members up to date on the latest discussion, issues, and research in the field of project controls.
Monthly Dinner Meetings
Every month, between September and May, members of the local section host a dinner meeting to get together and share their experiences and expertise in applying project controls in diverse industries through out the SF Bay Area. A new speaker each month makes a presentation on a topic of interest to the membership, covering everything from AACE-International's recommended practices for project controls to in-depth, hands-on discussions of local Bay Area projects.
Everyone is welcome to attend; to share and learn from each other, and to just have a good time relaxing with colleagues.
