The 2007 Western Winter Workshop

The San Francisco and Southern California Sections of AACE International will be holding the 46th Annual Western Winter Workshop. The workshop is to be held March 16-18, 2007 at the scenic , overlooking the city of Monterey and Monterey Bay.

 We are very proud to present James R. Baxter, the Executive Director of AACE International as this years Key Note speaker. James G. Zack, Jr., this years AACEI President, will be on hand to present and to award the trophy for the Presidents Cup golf challenge.

 We are also excited to include the following industry leaders to our newly added vendor program: Ares, Timberline, U.S. Cost, Skire and Meridian Project System/PROLOG. Stop by and explore the newly added functionality to these best in class software applications.

 The weekend will begin with the 4th Annual Presidents Cup Golf Tournament, supporting the section scholarship program. A Certification Review Seminar will also be held on Friday the 16th.

 Please save the date as this year proves to present some of the "Best and The Brightest" in our industry for "Total Cost Management" solutions.

For the first time a special presentation is to be offered Saturday morning March 17th. "For this year's program we will add an exciting new preview to the future.  Breakfast with the "Capital Program Leadership Panel" will be introduced Saturday morning March 17th. We will have the opportunity to listen to presentations concerning capital programs either planned or underway from a variety of senior decision makers from  various public agencies in Northern California.  Participating in this panel are the following distinguished guests: Jack Collins, Chief Construction Officer of the Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority; Andrew  Fremier, Deputy Director of the Bay Area Toll Authority; Bijan Sartipi, Director of Caltrans District 4; and Leonard Takayama, Deputy Director-Planning and Development of the Sacramento International Airport. Please join us to hear first-hand about these agencies' significant capital programs and have the chance to discuss the issues with them."
