Scholarships awards provide an opportunity to bring students into the fold and reward them for their hard work. AACE International recognizes

the importance of students and student members. We at the San Francisco Bay Area Section take great pride in our scholarship program.

We work hard each and every year to ensure that scholarship funds are available to the local student population.

Mark T. Chen, PE CCE, Chair of the Education Board, had this year's privilege of awarding 3 Matching Fund Scholarships to our section. 

One National award was also presented to one of our local applicants. This year's awards went to these 4 outstanding recipients.

1. Mr. Sean M. Smith was awarded a National Fund scholarship in the amount of $750.
2. Mr. Brett S. Diede was awarded the Matching Fund scholarship in the amount of $500.
3. Mr. Michael Hulbert was awarded the Matching Fund scholarship in the amount of $500.
4. Mr. Andre Hawks was awarded the Matching Fund scholarship in the amount of $500.
