With two exciting tracks, the Technical & Certification track and the Capital Management track. This year the Western Winter Workshop will provide something for everyone. We will also be hosting the event at a new location this year, in the heart of downtown Monetery, at the Portola Hotel & Spa.

This year's key note speaker Michael Machanich will present a new approach to Workman's Compensation and how companies can create a competitive edge through "Alternative Dispute Resolution in Worker's Compensation". Mr. Machanich brings years of experience as the CEO of Worker's Comp Solutions. 

William "Bill" Kraus, PE CCE., this year’s AACE International President, will be on hand to to speak on the “State of the Association” and to award the trophy for the 5th Annual President’s Cup golf challenge.  Sunday will round out the weekend with a full certification session to include the new CEP "beta" Certification session.  Get your registration in early and receive a free WWW logo shirt!

In 2008, the San Francisco Bay Area and Southern California sections of the AACE will hold the 47th Annual Western Winter Workshop. 

The 2008 Western Winter Workshop will be held the weekend of March 14th through 16th.

Certifications will be held on Sunday March 16th. This year we are happy to present the second round of the CEP Beta testing.

This year we will be returning to the Portola Hotel & Spa (formerly the DoubleTree Inn)

The Western Winter Workshop was started in 1961. Originally this annual pilgrimage was to the prestigious Pebble Beach Resort "Lodge". Coming in 2011 this event will return to Pebble Beach to celebrate 50 years of service to the organization.
